Engage is proud to announce the successful implementation of its colleague engagement platform at leading wellbeing charity Mytime Active. The Engage-powered app has been rolled out to over 700 colleagues across 22 locations, playing a central role in realising the organisation’s ‘one team’ vision.
With more than 60% of the workforce being non-desked and mobile, Mytime Active faced the challenge of maintaining a strong sense of community while ensuring seamless communication and access to resources. The Engage platform has effectively addressed these challenges, transforming how the organisation connects with and supports its colleagues.
Business Benefits Achieved:
• Universal connectivity and communication: The Engage app has provided Mytime Active with a direct, reliable communication channel that reaches every colleague, regardless of their role or location. This has eliminated the previous reliance on WhatsApp groups, manager-cascaded information, and an intranet that was only accessible to a fraction of the workforce. Now, all colleagues receive the right communications at the right time, fostering a more informed and connected community.
• Enhanced engagement and community building: The platform has significantly improved how Mytime Active engages with its colleagues across the organisation. Colleagues are encouraged to provide feedback, share best practices, and celebrate achievements, creating a more collaborative and supportive environment. The app has also helped colleagues gain a more comprehensive understanding of the organisation’s mission and operations, deepening their investment in the charity’s goals and in each other.
• Streamlined access to resources and tools: The Engage app has centralised all essential resources, from policy directories to digital reward vouchers, into one easily accessible platform. The app’s user-friendly design, reminiscent of familiar social media platforms, has ensured that all colleagues, regardless of their IT literacy, can navigate and use the app with confidence. This has simplified day-to-day operations and empowered colleagues with the tools they need to succeed.
• Support for wellbeing and ‘One Team’ philosophy: Mytime Active’s commitment to wellbeing is reflected in the seamless roll-out of the Engage app, which has not only supported colleagues in their daily tasks but has also reinforced the organisation’s ‘one team’ philosophy. The app has brought colleagues closer together, supporting their wellbeing by making it easier to stay connected, informed, and engaged.
Louize Carroll, Head of HR at Mytime Active, reflects on the impact: “The Engage platform has been a game-changer for us, providing a direct connection with every colleague and allowing us to mobilise our communications and resources across the entire organisation. The app’s functionality and ease of use have made it a valuable tool for everyone, from lifeguards to instructors. It’s brought our ‘one team’ philosophy to life, supporting our colleagues day-to-day and helping us build a thriving, connected community.”
